Yay Cashel!
My wife was a teacher’s assistant/subsitute at for my oldest daughter’s class during kindergarten.
This year, a new home, a new state, a new school. She took her to school the fist day and walked down with her to her class. She hung out for a bit making sure that everything was going okay. My daughter goes up to my wife and tells her, “Mom, you can go now.”
It’s so poignant to me. My baby’s grown up, etc. My wife just laughed when she said it.
I really must use that preview button.
YAY!!!
Perhaps we can set up a meeting with Cashel and my five-year-old niece. She started kindergarten on Wednesday and came home complaining of a stomach ache. She then proceeded to puke in school on both Thursday and Friday.
That broke my heart when my sister told me.
My niece is usually fearless and not shy so we’re all a little surprised. At the same time, she doesn’t like change and was very comfortable in her preschool routine. But she’ll adjust soon enough. Hopefully she’ll adopt Cashel’s excellent attitude!!
