Great photo – though I’m troubled with the perspective trying to find her legs. I feel like maybe her knees should show? Anyway, do you know who the man is with her? I’m guessing a relative.
I left a comment on last week’s William Powell/Jean Harlow pic. I think I screwed up and put it in an underlayer somewhere as it didn’t show up. But I’ll say here again how much I liked that photo as well. He is a favorite of mine.
I see one of her knees – or at least I think I do! If I am not mistaken, that man is her first husband, a very good friend. Luddy, I think was his nickname.
Sorry Jane – I didn’t see your comment – I wonder if it got caught up in a spam filter. That’s been happening off and on lately. The spammers have been really active, and I’m deleting on average 800 spam messages a day, so maybe yours got lost in that shuffle.
Speaking of William Powell, TCM is showing My Man Godfrey tonight!
