Finally meeting her in person was one of the bonuses of having a public reading (I’ll write more about it in a bit), and I understand her introvert status, and so I appreciate her coming out even more.
We all appreciated her comments so much, and yes, her use of the slang word (twice) was awesome (Jeff, in particular, loved it), and we all discussed it later, how awesome it was that people were having such strong (and diverse) reactions. The discussion afterwards was fantastic.
More to come. It was a total triumph and I am very happy. Grateful to Mitchell, Amy, Jeff, and John for helping to make it happen. Couldn’t have had a better team.
