    Oh god…I was just thinking about that song that Billy Bragg wrote about Phil that I used to listen to a lot in high school. “Says I to Phil, you’re ten years dead. I never died said he…”

    Phil is now thirty years dead. That makes me feel old.

    Dearest: Phil Ochs–much to your mother’s chagrin, my favorite album in the 60s was an anti-war [Vietnam of course] Ochs album–I now forget which one. He was authentic. love, dad
