I don’t know – I was way too old to be that wasted – and I had to go throw up in the MEN’S BATHROOM in this horrible dive bar – My brother stood watch outside the door, and I threw up. Have you ever called someone Boo? Ewwwww. No. Unless it was my friend Kate’s dog – who was named after Boo Radley. So yeah, I called HIM “boo” – but please, just shoot me if I ever call my boyfriend “Boo” as an endearment. That’s disgusting.

Are you happy with your life right now? Oh fuck off.
Does anyone like you? What kind of question is this? Of course somebody likes me right now. A bunch of people like me.
What were you doing May of 1994? Of course I know exactly what I was doing because that was the craziest funnest wildest (and etc etc) time of my life. I was preparing to perform at Milwaukee Summer Fest in July. It was the craziest weirdest thing I had ever done. I was also madly madly in love with someone. All would eventually crash and burn in August of that same year – but in May I still held out hope. Ouch.

Are you a morning person or night owl? Morning person. I can’t believe I’m saying this. For most of my life I was not only NOT a morning person – but I was HELL ON WHEELS in the morning. Mitchell said that I had “the morning sterns” – hahahaha – I would be frowning and stern in the morning, and I had NO sense of humor. But in 1999 I turned it all around. I basically decided to be a morning person and trained myself over a series of weeks to wake up to my alarm at 5:30 am – and I swear, it has changed my life. Seriously. //and by “several” I mean “all of them”. //
hahahahahahahaha
I’m going to be REALLY annoying now.
You and your mother and I had lunch at Olive Garden one time years and years and years ago. I think I worked at the Barnes & Noble near there. Soup, salad and breadsticks.
I am sorry to have to correct you like that. I’m also frightened that I am able to.
“Have you ever called your teacher mom? Ew.”
I was very, very careful not to, when I was in my mom’s classroom for THREE FREAKING YEARS. Rural school. Not enough teachers. Split grades.
Once, another kid said how lucky I was, and one of my friends corrected him: “John can’t get away with anything“. She was the only teacher to ever send me out to the hall (the first line of punishment before you got sent to the Principal’s office).
I like beer – just never thought of it as “yummy” though. Yummy I usually reserve for baked goods.
Jayne – holy crap!!!! I TOTALLY remember that now!
John – hahahaha Yes, I can imagine that would be weird!!
Speaking of remembering – Mere and I were talking yesterday about a story we both vaguely remember as an O’Malley story. I’ll email you the gist of it…but please let me know if this is one of yours!
Holy cow… This meme would take six hours for me to finish. God bless your little keyboard, Sheila.
Jayne – that Barnes & Noble has now moved, correct? Is it across the street from where it used to be? I am trying to picture it – but now I totally remember my mother and I stopping by to have lunch with you.
Yep – it did move. The new store is huge and beautiful and I go there every Friday on my lunch break to browse and sit in the cafe and read. There are even still a few people there who I worked with way back when.
Yeah, I’ve been to the new one – it’s AWESOME. Spacious – with those high high ceilings!!
The new B&N in West Warwick?
John (sorry Sheila, I’m taking over the conversation) – it’s in Warwick, on Route 2 on the right (going north) just before you get to Pier One… There’s a Jake Kaplan’s dealership and the B&N is kind of behind that.
//Do you have a webcam? No – or … do I? I might. I have no idea.//
hahahaaaa, i love this, sheila, because i have no idea for my laptop, either. i don’t even know if it has a microphone or anything. and really, who cares?!
also, love how you get all up in front with this meme, and its assumptions.
I am called “boo” on occasion. I take deep lifelong offense at your use of the word disgusting in associaton with this harmless word. And don’t you dare tell anyone else.
oops. is this a blog? is this thing on? did i just type that out loud?
I didn’t hear anything, Boo.
hahahahaha
“Is this thing on?”
Yes. My blog is on, boo.
amelie – hahahahaha There were other even MORE nosy questions on it that I refused to answer. Sheesh.
Butt out, meme!
Oh – and I personally am very glad that the Barnes and Noble switched sides of the road – just cause it means it’s easier for me to turn into the lot. I would so rarely approach it from the north – so it makes it all the more convenient for ME that it is now on MY side of the road.
Yep, that’s the one. I go to Inskip for service on the Volvo, and I often spend my wait time over there.
Pretty girl + flannel PJ’s = sublime
John – I love that particular Barnes & Noble – I know it’s a chain, so there are similarities between all the stores – but the VIBE there is really cool, really book store-y. Sometimes Barnes & Nobles feel as though they might as WELL be Walgreens or Sears – and I don’t go to a bookstore to have a department store experience.
That particular store in Warwick, for whatever reason, even though it’s huge – really feels like a book store to me.
Are you in a relationship? Yes. At the moment I am in a committed and monogamous relationship with Dean Martin.
I laughed at that.
Are you happy with your life right now? Oh fuck off.
I *really* laughed at that.
Butt out, meme!
I’m *still* laughing at that!!!
Thank you.
LOL, I had the exact same reaction to “what was the last FILM you saw at the CINEMA?”
PRETENTIOUS MEME! GET OVER YOURSELF!
at least, that’s what i assume you meant by your response. ;-)
coconut and applesauce= hahahahhahahahhahahaha
I will tell Tom
BEST.
JOKE.
EVER.
