A great photo of him. He appears to be perusing, uhm, Madonna’s Sex book??? What the heck is that he’s reading?

Probably Sex and the Single Girl. I saw it a long time ago and hardly remember a thing about it. I’m sure he wore suits. He almost always did.
You don’t think that’s an odd picture? Odd meaning: cool?
And sure he wore suits all the time – that just adds to the odd/cool-ness of the photo, in my opinion. Its theatrical quality, yet also its weird naturalness.
Also that doesn’t look like a script to me.
“Also that doesn’t look like a script to me.”
I’ll defer to you on that but I’m afraid that only leaves p*rn, red. :)
It IS a cool photo. He looks perfectly oblivious to the camera.
Maybe he was reading the actual book of Sex and the Single Girl – although I don’t know why it would be that big.
Full discolsure mode:
When I saw that photo, the thought crossed my mind that it had been altered in some fashion. Why? Well, for what’s been suggested here and on my blog; namely that whatever it is Henry Fonda is reading looks an awful lot like Madonna’s ‘Sex’ book from 1992, which I doubt Fonda could have read, seeing as how he’d been dead for ten years prior.
I looked at the photo and looked at it again and again for the last week, and it seems legit to me, which is why I ultimately posted it. I still don’t know what it is he’s reading, but if it should come to pass that this is a photoshop job (and if it is it’s a damned fine one), I’ll be the first to apologize.
But thanks for linking to it, Mademoiselle Red!
Size is everything.

Isn’t he wearing the same suit here? The picture is from 12 Angry Men.
