Elvis has overcome the “Put-down” of the cliched “Elvis in Black Velvet”, for many years now. About 12 years ago, I received a birthday card…….of Elvis…..surrounded and dressed, so to speak in Black Velvet…..I placed it in a niche on a bookshelf…….I throw him a kiss, everyday! Elvis , from a put-down………to a Love Song. This song knows me! TYVM! ……..Sheila, girl !!
