H had some pajama pants made out of fabric very similar to that back a couple of years ago. You’d be amazed at what you can find printed on cotton these days.
I love how she mixes it up with houndstooth.
If anyone makes fun of her for it, she can always choke them with the power of her mind.
My little brother had this full set of bedding in the late 70s.
I want that dress — so desperately. She needs to sport a hidden camera or something the first day she wears it out and then upload it so we can see the reactions.
Well, she doesn’t “NEED” to, but, well, I just think it would be, you know, neato.
A peek into the life of Crusader: Lucas fanboy.
I love how in the comments section over there someone says wearing the dress once would be fine – but twice would be “nerdy” – and of course, someone jumps in and defends nerds everywhere. Something like, “You say ‘nerdy’ as though it’s an insult!”
I felt proud. Of nerds sticking up for each other.
Really, nerdiness is much more fun when you embrace it. I refuse to be embarrassed that I still enjoy YA fiction, that I’m a full-out Harry Potter fan, or that I still get excited about science years after becoming an English major. I love dressaday, and I love that she understands how to enjoy life.
Harriet – absolutely. It’s way too much stress to HIDE whatever “nerdy” qualities you might have.
Hehe, sad but true, Lisa, especially in 1979 when he was all of 8 or so! When I think of all the toys we had and broke then that would be mighty valuable now…although, packrat that he is he still does have a lot of them.
