I haven’t touched up this photo at all. This is actually what I saw. This is the view from the end of my street. It is dawn. I mean, can you believe it??
I’m a total amature, but I’m really getting into it lately. (I got a new camera back in March and I’ve gone from being a total lame-o about taking pictures to snapping just about everything in sight.)
Missy – all of these were taken PRE my new camera … I used to have a great camera (not digital, all manual) – and it finally died … but I’ve been keeping photo albums for years.
Those moon pictures are amazing! wow!!!
And I do have a flickr page – finally. I’m still uploading stuff though – it’s all stuff I’ve already shown on Ye Olde Blog.
It looks like an old painting; especially the reflection of the last bit of light off the water. You framed it nicely. Very cool, Sheila.
You should get it framed (if it doesn’t get all pixellated). Seriously. Lovely photo.
For me – what amazed me was the sort of striations in the clouds. Long strips … and that they actually came off in the photo. Amazing!!
Wow.
Just… wow.
Good eye there, Sheila.
I’m with Patrick, it actually looks like an old painting.
It’s breathtakingly beautiful. Great photo, Sheila!
Very nice. As Ken said, good eye.
All these photos suddenly–you’re thinking of calling it a new hobby?
Are you on Flickr?
Check out my moon pix from last Friday night.
