Lying

    Oh God – that’s the problem with the commonplace book – sometiems I do not put down WHERE I found it. I think it was in a speech he gave – a graduation speech at Yale, maybe? Let me do some digging I might be able to find it.

    Okay, I’m insane – I found it. It was in an essay Mark Twain wrote for the Chicago Tribune, in 1871.
