The Gobi of writing

Edith Wharton had been a bit on my mind lately, just peripherally – in a floaty sort of way. I think Wharton kept coming up for me starting from this post of Anne’s – it just got me to thinking … and then, on my new favorite blog – I came across this wonderful letter from Wharton. It’s really what I need to hear right now, in terms of writing. Weird when that happens sometimes. But it’s definitely food for continuous thought – I have been experiencing it myself.
