To the wonderfully talented and ambitious Scott Beehner for this great review of Bert – not just a good review of the film, but a review of what it took to get it made (which was all Scott’s doing!) – well-deserved. I saw a screening of Bert a while back – a bunch of friends are in the movie, and I know Scott – and I am VERY happy to say that my old friend David is pulled out of the review, and given special attention: “A friend from New York and ‘Law & Order’ regular David Raymond Wagner plays Ike and gives the most attention-grabbing performance in the movie.”
Damn straight, friend!!
Congratulations to everyone involved!

Wait, Friend David is a L&O regular? How did I not know this?!
And why does that impress me more than ANYTHING else he’s done?! Dick Wolf owns me. OWNS. ME.
Ha!!
David has been on Law & Order so much that he is now pretty much totally over it! “Yawn. Law & Order. Again??” Although I will let him speak for himself. My favorite is when he played a fire chief.
David!!! Attention grabbing? I seem to remember David as a VERY subtle actor.
Oops, I just peed in my pants!
Big-ups to Wags!
Millicent-Nell_dora_kate_la Creevey-Dwyer, did Brendan just say that?!
I just peed my pants.
And Lisa, the reason you don’t know that I’m a L&O regular is because although I’ve been on it a bunch of times, the total screen time adds up to about 3 and a half seconds.
But I’m not bitter.
