   That comment about writing out, late at night, the list of all the names she(?) can remember breaks my heart a little.

   I used to do a thing where at the end of the day, when I was saying my prayers, I’d think of every person I’d come into contact with in the day, whether I knew their name or not, and just sort of “remember” them to God. Maybe I need to start doing that again.

   Is it strange for me to line up the women I know in my mind, and imagine them getting me a bottle of water from my kitchen when lying awake at night?

   …more importantly…am I choosing a wife?

   Ricki, I’ve never felt completely comfortable praying, so when I was younger, I used to just write a list of everyone, sort of like your method.
