There was this wild crashing break off the coast where we were having brunch: the waves hitting the bar and the rocks and going nuts with foam and spray. The wind was high, the entire ocean heaving (I felt sorry for the folks on the Block Island ferry that day – I’ve taken the ferry on such high-seas days and it is not pleasant), and it was a feast for all of the senses. Cold, bright, and LOUD. Zoomed in, way in, on that crazy break of waves, and snapped a picture. Didn’t check the display to see if I had “got it” or anything, just moved on to something else. Later, when I checked the display, here is what I saw. An awesome seagull photo bomb.

I like the way he positioned himself at the perfect place, compositionally, so that it looks like you were intentionally framing the pic for HIM. LOL!
hahaha I know!! Like: “Hey, thanks for looking at me! Let me show you how awesome I am!”
That’s how it started in Bodega Bay.
Ha. Yup. He is up to no good.
