then one is never truly lonely.
This character had some serious psychological problems.
Be afraid. Be very afraid.
A brave smile from a character obviously dealing with, uhm, some physical challenges.
I enjoy it when I enter the panel of a comic book.
(The Nana!!!)
A pretentious asshole. Takes herself WAY too seriously!
Back off! I’m about to blow!!!
My 700 dollar haircut, from the side.
Harassed by the paparazzi.
I’m basically just showing off the fact that I have finally, at long last, grown my nails.
My Wings of the Dove bitch.
What price beauty.
James Joyce. He is everywhere.
Hotness on SO many levels!!! ;)
For a second I thought, “Is she in BLACKFACE?” but then I realized that you were wearing one of those facial masks things…that is what you’re doing, right?
It’s a mud mask. But I guess it could be seen as a tribute to Al Jolson, too – although that wasn’t my intent. The mud mask has hardened onto my face – so it’s difficult to even smile or move my damn cheeks!!
De – ha! I’m such a goofball! I have a huge collection of hats that I need to pull out of the closet – I want to do more of these, they’re kinda fun!
that is hilarious. the facial mask itself isn’t funny but whatever the hell you are doing with your face underneath it IS.
Bren – hahahaha I know, like: whatcha smilin’ like that for, chickie? You look nuts.
Am I seeing things or does The Nana actually say “Nana”??
Yes! It does!! My camera obviously takes pictures backwards – damn it!!
My dear friend Beth bought the thing from a local factory – that put out these fleece BAGS – and she bought it for her mother (known as “Nana” to her chidren”) – and hence, had it embroidered as such. She left the “nana” at my apartment and told me I could have it since her mother had tried it on and it had basically cut off her circulation at her ankles (hahahahahahaha) – I now wear it on the coldest of days. It’s “The Nana”!!
your nails look real nice, sheila.
at first glance, paparazzi reminded me of drew barrymore, and i can’t really explain why.
this looks like fun, though!
You have a Molly tee, wow! BTW your nails look great. It was really cute when my mom proudly showed us she stopped biting her nails last year. She even started to enjoy getting them done once in a while.
Kate – yay for your mom!! I enjoy getting mine done once in a while too – it’s so cool!!
And yes! I bought my Molly Tee at the Bloomsday extravaganza (uhm nightmare) that I went to this past year. I love it!
My daughter (an occasional reader) started doing these kinds of pics of herself after seeing your series of ’em.
It’s like a virus.
(And she’s pretty good at it, too!)
I wish I had the personality to pull off awesome hats. I love them!
Seriously, if I could be one person in this world (other than myself of course), it would be you!
