What was the occasion?
You know that Paul Simon song “Still Crazy After All These Years”? It was kinda like that.
I know the song and love it (and almost everything Paul Simon’s ever done). Knowing the song opens up all kinds of further questions of course, but questions that I will not ask. I don’t want to pry and as the song says, “I seem to lean on old familiar ways.”

There are very rare moments when I actually feel like I am on a date with the city … we are in sync, our arms are linked, I think it’s beautiful, it thinks I’m beautiful -and that was one of those nights.
