I thought my traffic spiked when Glenn Reynolds linked to me.
Please.
Glenn Reynolds is small potatoes compared to being linked by The Pioneer Woman. Holy moley!! Insta-lanche my ass, try a Pioneer-lanche! It’s almost frightening!
Welcome Pioneer Woman readers from around the world – and thank you, dear Ree, for your kind endorsement. Yours is one of the best sites on the web. Period.
I agree. The Pioneer Woman is the best blog in the universe. I am happy to discover yours, too, however. I bet you’ll become a daily read for me, also.
Yep, that’s how I found you this morning! I really should be fired for how much time I spent reading your blog today when I supposed to be working. I consider it providence (I finished the Anne series last week, I bought it for my daughter and had to reread it all for myself).
I’ll not gush and tell you all the things we agree on and how much I love your writing, I’m just glad and amazed that the race of Joseph manages to find each other!
Race of Joseph!!!! Oh my gosh, the memories!
Yes – the Internet is truly wonderful in bringing the Race of Joseph together.
Welcome, ladies – very very nice to have you here.
Thanks be to Ree for turning us on to your blog, great stuff!!!
I’m another one from the pioneer woman. I immediately took a look at your favorite childhood books…my personal favorites are the ones I’ve read growing up. And your list rings true with me, 100%! (Ballet Shoes is also a personal favorite of mine, which you don’t see too often among other people’s favorite books.) I’m looking forward to reading your blog and getting new books to read!
Oddly enough, I’m pretty sure I found the Pioneer Woman from you, Sheila…
What a wonderful blog you have. Books and Movies. What could be better! I found you through Pioneer Woman too:-)
Sheila, I also found Pioneer Woman through you! So, thanks! and Congrats!
I found you when I did an internet search for a book called The Diamond in the Window. I had read it when I was a kid and wanted to find it again. Apparently it was one of your favorites as a kid, too.
Lynn
Man, this is awesome. Ballet Shoes, the Race of Joseph, and Diamond in the Window all in one thread.
Cash just read ‘Diamond In The Window’! I re-read it as well. What a great book!
Yes, I’m here from PW land and I’m so glad I came. I just read all your Rocky posts and my jaw is still on the floor…you just said it all. You just SO get it. And as one who is customed to being alone in my obsessions, I appreciated every word. Thank you.
Yes, I’m here from PW land, and I’m so glad I came. I just finished reading all your Rocky posts and my jaw is still on the floor. You just so get it. As one who is accustomed to being alone in my obsessions, I appreciated every word. My neck hurts from nodding so eagerly as I read. Thank you!
Ha! You get three comments from me. I frantically tried to cancel the first one before it published because I noticed I wrote “customed” instead of accustomed, but, alas, it published anyway. Oh well, my enthusiasm bears repeating!
