“Parting is such sweet sorrow.”

I have found myself witness to a feline Romeo & Juliet situation in the last couple of days – between a black stray cat (who hangs out in my backyard) and Hope, perched on my windowsill.

It’s hysterical.

You have an actual, real yard? Wow!

I love how cats look at each other with such curiosity. It’s like they can speak with their eyes….or maybe they’re telepathic. WEIRD!

    Oh my God.

That’s a whole novel, right there, in that picture.

De – I do have a yard! I have to share it with 12 other people but it is a yard! This little black cat has been haunting our backyard for about a year now. Hope FREAKED when she saw him the first time. Made these truly alarming moaning noises in her throat like she either wanted to kill him or mount him. And he (I am assuming he is a he, since I have seen him urinate, frankly) TAUNTS her. He leaps up and down and once he even got so far as to reach the screen – and hung there, by his claws, his eyes insane. She was out of her mind.

    I think it’s love.

    More like Friar Tuck, probably.
