Scanning Friday

Another violent series of images Betsy and I did for our after-school photography class.

And once again, I am cast as the attacker, Betsy as the victim. How did we work that out?

Again, I know these are silly, and we were 11 years old, but I really like these pictures. I think the closeup of Betsy’s face looks like one of Tenniel’s drawings of Alice.

    These are fabulous. I love the kids in the background on the close-up of Betsy, totally oblivious to this violent assault.

    I’m loving your hands! Like, what, Sheila? They’re not balled up in fists; you don’t look like you’re about to slap her; it’s like … you’re going to make handprints on her dress. Smear some paint on those hands and this is going to get UGLY.

    Yeah, that closeup of my hands and torso is seriously weird. My left arm looks strangely elongated and thin.
