Dressing room

This is the dressing room at the Shattered Globe Theatre in Chicago. That place STANK. We all felt that there must be a rat decaying behind the walls or something. But oh, the hilarity in that co-ed dressing room. Hard to even describe, but we all remember it well.

My very first show in Chicago was at Shattered Globe. Tight and Shiny rented the space and David and I did the extremely compelling “Can You Hear Me Mr. Schzepanski”. I was a very focused actress who giggled every time I looked at David in a clown suit.

    hahahahahahahaha

I missed that show – I think it pre-dated me. But it is legendary in my own mind.

Nothing like Night of the Mime though. Kate and I just had a conversation about Night of the Mime and how it is one of the funniest shows we have ever seen.

“And now …….. a reading from ……. Mime Kampf.”

Just looking at that picture, I smelled b.o. wafting from the keyboard…

    “Martha, your dress stiiiiiiiiinks …”

Kate – and member by the end of the run of Death in the Family that our costumes were all just slightly damp?
