ooh! me too! i’ve been playing with it. love it.
You know what amazes me about digital cameras? How clear the picture is…I mean, you can see every little friggin’ detail. What an awesome photo, Sheila.
I know! I’ve been using stupid throwaway cameras for a while – and I am just amazed at … what I can actually capture now.
I still get amazed by all the neon in Times Square. I’m never like, “Oh yeah. Whatever. Neon lights. Yawn.” hahaha
I bet you couldn’t point a camera and click on a single corner of Times Square and not capture some moment of excitement! That place is so awesome. The first time I went, I was with a friend and we were trying to make our way to some theater – it felt *packed* to me, and she was all “wow, this place is empty compared to usual.” Hahaha. Such an out-of-towner I was!
I took a picture of my storyboard last night to send to my writing partner, from like three feet away and he can actually *read* all of my scribbling on the note cards. It’s amazing.
Emily – wow – that is so amazing.
I have to keep experimenting – so far I’ve mostly been taking pictures of big huge structures that are far away from me – I’m into architecture and all that … but I also want to experiment with that kind of close-up detail stuff.
