A spoof on the horror-film trope of “The Final Girl”, The Final Girls is sometimes not-so-good, sometimes very entertaining – but doesn’t really have anything to say about “The Final Girl” concept. Look for Angela Trimbur though. That actress is hilarious.

My review of The Final Girls is now up at Rogerebert.com.

Sorry to hear this–I’m often up for a good horror spoof, but it sounds like this one can wait. Maybe I’ll watch “Tucker and Dale vs. Evil” again, instead.

The spoof is actually the funnest part of it – there’s definitely a lot there, especially if you like horror films.

And Angela Trimbur!! This chick is HILARIOUS.
