Again, a small note off of the Iranian Girl’s blog. A crackdown on Valentine’s Day has happened in Tehran, police closing down shops that dared to put hearts in their windows, etc. Valentine’s Day is too Western, and therefore corrupting; also, V-Day also focuses on love and contact between the sexes … which. Anyway, the last sentence of her small post moved me very much:
no matter what they wanna do, but Iranian boys & girls, do not obey them to be different from other young people…valentine will be held here in Iran.
