//in a pack of Morley cigarettes, the brand of choice for The X-Files’s Cigarette Smoking Man (William B. Davis). Crossover episode, anyone?//
Oh my god.
OH MY GOD.
I have not been able to stop imagining a meeting between Denise Bryson and Fox Mulder since I read this. This HAS to happen!
Right???
I mean we’ve alreaady got Garland Briggs floating in the sky as some messenger from outer space…
and I’m sorry, but the “Blue Rose” thing made me think of one of my S2 re-cap of SPN. :) Blue Roses!

I know it’s a stretch, but still!
I thought of that, too! I could go nuts imagining an intricate crossover network!
Blue Roses 4EVA.
and the sort of wink when Denise – ie Duchovny – said she got so excited saying “Federal Bureau of Investigation” in its entirety and I was imagining Scully and Mulder, buried somewhere in the basement of the building, looking at blurry shots of General Briggs floating through the sky.

YES!
The actor who played Garland Briggs, Don S. Davis, also played Scully’s father in a couple episodes – a connection to be made there, perhaps? ;-)
Of course! Yes! He was Scully’s dad – who appeared in a dream/vision after his death.
It all fits together!
*mind blown* I missed this completely!
That scene with her in the car was hypnotic, probably the best one of the show so far.
// probably the best one of the show so far. //
Definitely one of my favorite scenes. That and the opening sequence of Episode 3.
Tonight! Whoopee!!
I’m dying for some discussion of last night’s episode, but I don’t want to post any spoilers.
It has literally shocked me in every episode of the revival so far when the end credits start. I’m so engrossed that I don’t even realize how much time has passed, and here I am with endless questions about what just happened. It’s maddening and satisfying at the same time. How does THAT work?
// I’m so engrossed that I don’t even realize how much time has passed, //
I know! To quote my friend Charley, it’s bliss!
New post up!!
