I dyed my hair platinum for about 2 seconds and then shaved it all off. I loved the platinum, but it was too high-maintenance. These pics are from when I was visiting during my time in grad school. We were seeing Rachel perform at Second City. (Recently, I participated in a monologue night at Rachel’s improv company here in New York, such a great night). There’s George in the plaid shirt (whose new play just premiered at Trinity Rep – we all traveled up to see it) and of course – as always – Mitchell. Old old friends. Beloved people, all.

Wow, it’s stunning! I love it! Suits you!
I loved it too! But then the roots started growing in and I was like “No way can I maintain this.”
So I went Sinead O’Connor with it.
But it was fun while it lasted!
The platinum looked good on you!
Thanks Barb – I loved it!
