The Last Movie Star stars Burt Reynolds. It’s ABOUT Burt Reynolds, although his character’s name is Vic Edwards. I have so many thoughts about Burt Reynolds (Mitchell and I discussed him here), so it was so fun to write this review. It gave me a chance to really ponder the Burt Reynolds Thing, which is actually not all that easy to get a handle on. He was a sex symbol, but he was a unique sex symbol. Rare.
