
It was a sad sad day when Colony Music closed. A staple in New York. An essential place. Actors, musicians, singers … it was as regular a pit-stop as the Drama Bookshop. You could get literally every piece of sheet music ever published. Great great place. Glad I have a couple of different pictures of the iconic sign. It was a tremendous blow when it closed. Yet another thing that made New York precious and unique and a beacon to artists … shattered. They’ll probably put a Starbucks or a highrise there.
