This was with my “real” camera. I was actually trying to take a picture of the subway as it whizzed by. I have a couple of those and they came out really good! So that’s what I was actually focusing on, and didn’t even realize I captured this woman walking by, probably moving to what would be the back of the train (because everyone knows you want to avoid getting on in the middle of the train, because everyone gets on in the middle of the train). This photo looks deliberate but it was a total accident! I love how she is interrupting her reading in order to catch the train, but she has kept the book open to her spot. I feel very seen by this behavior.
I love the expression on her face. That really tells a story.
