Wind farm on a stormy day in Croatia. I’m glad this one came out. I was in a moving car, and said car was being buffeted about by the blasts of wind.

oh gosh, the scrubby hill and stormy sky here sing to my Mediterranean soul. I love the contrast of an ancient landscape and an ultramodern silhouette. I have to share a similar on-the-move photo I took in the Netherlands, it’s one of my favourite photos of our whole trip — the colours and contrails and the army of turbines looked apocalyptic.
Oh my gosh, that photo is GORGEOUS.
