Review: I Carry You With Me (2021)

This moving love story/immigrant drama – a dramatization of a real-life story (the real-life guys are included in the final sequences showing “where they are now”) – was directed by Heidi Ewing (known for documentaries – like the Oscar-nominated Jesus Camp) – this is her first feature. She brings her documentary chops to the table. I recommend it. I reviewed for Ebert.
