I had a really good time as a guest on the new Why This Film? podcast talking about Martin Scorsese’s After Hours (I wrote the booklet essay for the Criterion Collection’s release of the film). There’s only been a couple eps of this podcast – and I try to limit the whole podcast thing – I get a lot of invites but time is limited so I need to be choosey. This one, though, seemed interesting, its purpose being “Exploring the Criterion Collection — one spine at a time.” So I got the invite and thought it would be fun to talk about this very important film in Martin Scorsese’s filmography.
