How cool. I wish I could knit.
That is almost, but not quite, on par with the knitted Dawn of the Dead.
I believe it far surpasses Dawn of the Dead in terms of sheer weirdness.
I love the ZIPPER on the brain. Fabulous.
Weirdness … I don’t know. Knitted zombies are quite weird. It’s subjective, I guess, but the zombies were amazingly cool.
However, Faustus’ post was fantastic.
In my worldview, a knitted medulla oblongata trumps a knitted zombie any day. (A truly bizarre statement, in and of itself, if you think about it.) I would actually love to have pictures of the person DOING the knitting – like pictures of the process – someone working very hard at … knitting a brain. There’s just something so beautiful about that.
I wish I could knit. I knit a scarf once. That was fun. I loved the process, it was very meditative – but to create something like what’s in that photo? No way!!!

What would be really cool is if the knitter of the brain and the knitter of the zombies got together and knitted a zombie eating a brain. How cool would that be?
No one in my immediate family is a knitter. But I have an aunt who has amazing knitting skills. She could easily do something like this but she would NEVER do this. My mother-in-law is also qutie the knitter. If there was a plan, I’m sure I could talk her into this, but without a guide, she’d never attempt it with her schedule.
