(of course) is the premiere of this season of American Idol.
I no longer have TV – or, I have TV, but no cable – so any participation I may have this year will need to be at the mercy of my good friends who have proper and 21st century television service.
This year’s premiere will find me at Jess’ – with Curly, and Mejack – for the festivities. I kind of cannot wait, to be honest with you.

uh……..what happened to your cable? I am having a bit of heart palitations just imagining life without it, now that I have DVR.
ha!! I know. Well – my big ol’ TV (old being the operative word) has broke. Long story – and so the channels can’t be changed – which renders the whole thing inoperable (except as a vessel for my DVDs and tapes). So I shut off the cable. Eventually I’ll get a new TV and then get cable again … but for now … I will be TV-less. I should be okay. It’s HBO I’ll really miss.
its really pathetic that I could not survive without TV/cable. I couldn’t. You know those people who frown on people who watch TV and have bumper stickers on their cars that order you to turn off your TVs for the good of the children?
they suck. they’re smoking crack. they need to come down off their stuck up high horses and stop being self ritchous (iknow thats spelled wrong…probably because i watch too much tv and therefore don’t know how to spell) beeatches.

I love TV soooooooooo much. It is totally scary. I have hours and hours of it saved up on my DVR. I have plans of going to 5o’clock mass tonight, just so I can come home and get in my jammies and get a whole bunch of yummy food and spend all night watching TV shows until my eyes get all beet red and I get a stomach ache from eating too much junk food.
Yup. That will be my Saturday Night, right through until the wee hours of the morning.So there, homeschooling,bumpersticker chai drinking hairy armpitted no tv ordering parents! I am going to do it!!

Sheila, I think I can speak for Jess and Mejack when I say that we all did the happy clap when you agreed to join in on the “Midol” madness. It’s going to be a hoot.
