I could probably write a Tolstoy-length book about the one minute of film in Rocky when Rocky is trying to get Adrian to come inside his apartment after their date at the skating rink. Watch how he hangs on the broken screen door. And the script: “Why you think?”

“I think he can anyway …”
Hahaha. I can totally hear you now. “I’m sorry, my dear friend, Soandso. I’m afraid I’m going to have to cancel our plans for this evening due to the dire emergency that has arisen requiring I watch Rocky for the 79th time this week.”
“You know I would love to see you and Mom, Dad, but something has come up that requires my immediate attention. Please give Mom my love. I know, Dad, but we’ll see each other the next time you two come to the city. Gotta run. Ba-Bye.”
Heh. Sheila, I thought of your “Rocky” obsession last night when I was going through an old stack of magazines and there was December 2006 of “Philadelphia” magazine–Sylvester Stallone on the cover: “Admit It: You Still Love Rocky–Stallone on the life (and death?) of the greatest Philly character ever.” If you can’t get your pretty little hands on a copy let me know if you’d like mine! :)
Emily and DBW – hahahahahahahaha
Exactly. I try, on a daily basis, to keep my priorities straight but it’s hard!!
