All I can say to this is: Amen.
I have linked to that archive before – and it’s also in my blog roll, so that I can always dip into it if I need a good laugh.
I saw her do her one-woman show based on her experiences. It is writing not to be missed.

I just spent an hour reading her stuff. Very well written and funny.
i think i saw this one woman show with you….wasn’t that the night we saw your sister’s friend do that dance skit? that was one funny night!
Allison – yes!! Same woman. Love her!
How did I not know this existed? I may never surface!
Lisa – I am so excited you get to discover it. So funny, sooo smart.
darn it, now dinner’s late..and i haven’t gotten to page four …it’s beyond riveting, it’s a shakespearean car accident.
amy – isn’t it riveting???
Her one-woman show is fabulous – she just basically stands up there and tells her stories and from beginning to end the audience (male and female) are ROLLING in the aisles.
i’ll have to scare up her schedule and make it a priority. i’m going to have to read it again, there is so much there. she makes these casual remarks that are SO insightful and because they are casual it takes a few moments to realize how deep they are. what an extraordinary woman. thanks again for the link, sheila
