Hope has discovered the deadliest and most persistent of enemies in my own apartment. The wilyness of her foe cannot be overestimated. It is a cunning opponent, keeping her on her toes, and Hope has not yet been the total victor in their many MANY battles.

Be careful…our cat ate one of those little thingies one time. I’ll spare you the gory details, but suffice to say they weren’t pretty.
Ha! Poor little kitty! I hide them from her, but she is insanely persistent. It’s like she has extra sonar ability or something.
When we had Timmy, it became second nature to throw the milk ring from the milk jug lid on the kitchen floor. A big battle would ensue until the milk ring was defeated. When we moved from that house, there were dozens of milk rings under the frig and oven. I think of Timmy every time I take the ring off of a milk jug lid.
redfish – your milk still has rings on it? (I have an identical story – but substitute Amber for Timmy – but we still have Amber, but no rings on milk jugs)
My cat loves those too. We try to keep them up, but with 3 girls in the house, it’s next to impossible. My cat, Chai, loves these swirly plastic toys, too. She’ll even do flips in mid air while playing with them. http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2751256
I love your Hope pictures.

Oh, how I love it when inanimate objects come to life!
Our cats freak out for those things, too. Entertaining the cats must be the reason my daughter simply cannot leave one in any place other than the floor. It can’t be that she’s a teenaged slob.
