This is our fourth year going to the Oscar party at Dublin 6 in the Village. You fill out forms at the beginning of the night making your predictions … It’s like a sports bar, only for the Oscars. SO MUCH FUN. Allison and I go every year. It is the most obsessive of nights.
I do this with Chelsea’s old dance teachers – we have always done it at their house and we have a red carpet and tiaras. If you get one right, you have to parade up and down the carpet and wave – and the grand prize is a goblet that was purchased for the event. I won the first year, then Joel won, and last year Christine won – I am realizing how silly this sounds…three adults parading down a red piece of fabric in a living room! It is so fun!

Speaking of award shows. Have you seen the Golden Globe nominees yet? Mickey Rourke was nominated for The Wrestler! Plenty of other nominations I am super excited about too. Meryl And Emma Thompson! I want them on stage together. How do I get them into a movie together?!!
