I’m not sure how to phrase this so that I don’t come across as too forward, because you don’t know me from Adam, but can I just say that I’m thoroughly enjoying the photos you’ve posted over the last few days? And enjoying isn’t even the right word. I haven’t been going through a brilliant phase myself the last few weeks and lately I find myself coming here to see what kind of pictures you’ve posted that day and it reminds me of all the good times and stupid goofy crap I get up to with my friends. And also…I hope this part doesn’t sound ridiculous, but here we go – I’m a lot younger than you (first year of college), and these pictures also remind me that there are plenty of fun stuff and memorable experiences and holidays etc in my future. So I want you to know that whatever the primary reason for these postings are, therapeutic or reminiscing with friends or whatever, that you’re also helping other people and making them smile.
I hope I don’t come across as presumptous or anything, but I also really extend my most sincere sympathy.
Oh my God, Catherine – you don’t come across as forward or presumptuous at all. It was a beautiful comment and thanks for posting it. As a matter of fact, all of your comments are wonderful contributions – I’ll get back to the poetry and other stuff eventually – just can’t right now – for now, it will be all photos all the time. I am very happy that you are enjoying them! And yes – many many good times ahead for you!

Catherine has managed to write what’s been at the tip of my fingers, too. Thank you, Sheila. You have helped me work on being less negative about … um, the WORLD. I’ve taken to muttering, “You shall love your crooked neighbor/ With your crooked heart” a lot lately. I don’t always succeed, but I’m getting better. So, thanks again, Sheila. And, I am truly, truly sorry.
