The “bridge to nowhere” in Milwaukee.
Pat called it “Sheila’s Bridge” because I was so fascinated by it.
Here’s a YouTube video of a section of the bridge being blown up. About 8 years ago a part of it caved in and they used explosives to clear it away before they could repair it.
So it’s all gone now?
No, they just blew away a small section that was hanging precariously. The bridge is as good as new and actually goes somewhere now.
