The film I did a while back, The Darkling Plain, has been nominated for a “Blizzard Award”, the award given out for accomplishment in film by the Manitoba Motion Picture Industry Association. It was nominated for Best Drama Series or Short — Under 60 Minutes.
The director shot me an email saying, “This is the Oscar, Western Canada style!”
