If you read the plot, you might think: Ho-hum, yawn, it’s been done. And that’s true. What matters is HOW the director (and it’s his first feature!) has told the story. I absolutely loved it.

It’s really good! I was amazed at how well it all worked. It’s emotionally draining. I kind of “figured it out” early on but the mood was so strong that every moment was engrossing. Similar to early seasons of SPN. Where the LOOK of it did the majority of the work.
and these kids actors are incredible!
