This was such a treat: I was a guest on Rachel Dratch’s extremely entertaining podcast Woo Woo. She has people on to talk about their personal encounters with the paranormal – like Tina Fey staying in a haunted hotel in Cape May, etc. – but then they also had on someone to talk about the Salem witch trials. Rachel and her co-host Irene Bremis could not have been more welcoming and fun. We talk about films, film criticism, and of course Frankenstein – there’s a lot of “woo woo” in the Frankenstein story! You can listen wherever you get your podcasts.

Sheila, thank you for shouting out the Babadook as such a scary movie! I have not seen it since it came out, and I STILL think about it whenever I see a coat hanging from a hook out of the corner of my eye.
Ian – hahaha!! Yes, same with me! I have definitely had a jump scare at the sight of my my coat and/or winter hat on a hook. Thanks a lot, Babadook.
and thank you for listening. It was a blast!
I knew I wrote a short little post about this Babadook experience in my own home.
