Carnegie Deli

Possibly my favorite sign in New York. I like to visit it on occasion. The Carnegie Deli, 55th and 7th. Too touristy most of the time. I first went there when I was 11 years old and ate a corned-beef sandwich that was literally – literally – taller than my head. I’ve never forgotten it.

Is the Stage deli still there? I have not been to NY in 20 years, but we stayed on 44th Street and walked to the deli for breakfast. Good times!

Try the Danny Rose on corn rye! It’s hilarious!
