Chronicle of Passion

“Sheila O’Malley has been chronicling one of her passions throughout October: Elvis Presley, whom she starts off calling underrated then manages to convince you that the shoe fits.”

Thanks, Sean Axmaker and Bruce Reid, for the shoutout to my Elvis posts in your Parallax roundup. And not just a shoutout, but a nice acknowledgement of what I am trying to attempt here. Many many thanks, guys.

“Chronicle of Passion” could be the name of your site, although Iim fond of The Sheila Variations.

Anecdotal, but something I’ve always remembered – Pat Priest was interviewed on an Oldies station here years ago, and reminisced about Elvis on the set of their movie just shaking his head and quietly telling her something like, ‘Heck, I used to drive a truck, now look at me.’

Congrats on the props your getting, well deserved :) I have Bossa Nova Baby running through my brain at all hours. Still can’t get enough of Cary Grant and Elvis laughing at the same time! Lore I never would have found if not for this site.
