I adore Jimmy Stewart!
And even though “It’s A Wonderful Life” isn’t my favorite movie either; my siblings and I always greet each other on Christmas morning with our best impressions of George Bailey’s gleeful ‘Merry Christmas Bedford Falls!’.
My fav Stewart movie is “Cheyenne Social Club” – thats the Jimmy I remember, and I loved every moment of that movie.
asked my hubby the other day why people liked Clint Eastwood so much? “anti-hero, I guess” was his answer. I cant take anti-heros anymore. I grew up with them, and Im sick of them. I know Eastwood is wonderful in his own right, but damn, I miss Wayne and Stewart and the like! “My heroes have always been cowboys…”
