“Three Babies” by Sinead is my second favorite of hers. I don’t know the real title of my first favorite, because it is on a mix that Tom made but I think it is called “Last Day of Our Acquaintance”. Also, have you heard of Mika’s stuff? He is my new favorite- courtesy of introduction by Ceileidh and Conor. PS Check you email.
Beth – I love Last Day of Our Acquaintance too – I love how it stars soft and quiet and stays that way for almost the whole song until the very end. Goosebumps!!
Mika, Mika … hmmm, I think I have heard of him but not his songs … let me check him out on iTunes.
I MISS YOU
im so glad u love Nina!!! total original right? and the Van Lear Rose?? brill!
“It’s the same ol’ fucking story…”
GREAT cruising song. I love the passionate anger in her voice when she sings that.
Mika’s “Big Girl You are Beautiful” (which I kept calling “Fat Girl I love you” and making the kids guffaw! It was a MISTAKE!!) is so much fun. “Lollipop” is very good too. So is “Love Today”. He is like a blend of Freddie Mercury, Adam Ant, and Prince. Love him.
I have been going through a phase with Heaven on Their Minds-it’s constantly running through my head. I have a secret fantasy to play Judas : )
“My mind is clearer now…” Ahhh! I love it so much it hurts.
