In the second game yesterday, Trot Nixon made a catch that was unbelievable. It happened so quickly – it looked like a miracle – did he actually just catch that ball? But no – it was no miracle. Just an amazing play by Trot. Amazing. Thank God they replayed it about a million times.

unfortunately, it appears trot pulled something on the way down.
Yeah, I saw the moment after the catch when he sort of touched his lower back, ass area, like: “oof”.
well, considering his back problems last year, it has me worried. but he didn’t come out of the game, which was a good sign.
bite your tongue beth. Naming calls. ;-)
Todays ProJo said that he didn’t hurt himself, and that the look on his face was only because he was so surprised that he’d caught the ball.
Pat: Ah, the good old Pro Jo!
Hope you had a great vacation, by the way. :)
Sorry I missed it. I’m having a hard time getting into this season. Are we supposed to start an anti-White Sox rebellion now? It’s like getting all geared up to take on Palpatine and finding out the real power in the Empire is Sancho Panza.
yeah what’s up with the white sox? what a surprise. and the orioles! but it sure is great to see the yankees 8 games out of first.
I’m not surprised by the White Sox performance. Ok, maybe a little but I’m not surprised they lead the Central. Few people properly weigh pitching and even fewer consider defense. They just see that the Sox lost two sluggers, so they must be a lesser team than they were.
