More Chekhov

A winter season definitely worth seeing. I am going to try to get to them all. Peter Dinklage in Uncle Vanya? Perhaps AS Uncle Vanya? I so need to see that. Diane Wiest in The Seagull? Directed by Austin Pembleton? Wonderful!

(There’s been a Chekhov theme lately. Perhaps there always IS a Chekhov theme, and it is only just now that I am really noticing it.)

This makes me wish I lived in New York! I especially want to see Diane Wiest in the Seagull. What awesome casting.

I saw Peter Dinklage in this Charlie Kaufman staged reading thing a couple of years ago (it was actually Peter Dinklage, Meryl Streep, and Hope Davis–talk about a cast) and he was great.
